Justice Served

Thanks to all the people who left their comments. I know you've been waiting for an update, so here is a short and sweet one:

PI caught wind that her former best friend is getting married this July. So what did she do? She hurriedly found someone to marry para hindi siya maunahan. Well, you know how it is when you buy something in a hurry. You usually end up with a lemon. Sabagay, sino ba namang lalaki in his right mind ang makakatiis sa ganyang sitwasyon. Anyhow, let's just say that I know people who know PI's catch much too well (so well they regret it, as do their gaping pockets). I'm so happy these two found each other. THEY REALLY GO WELL TOGETHER. HAY. HOW SWEET IT IS. Congratulations, boy, MAYAMAN KA NA!
To the other crazy cultists, my sympathies. Nadagdagan na naman ang mga palamunin ninyo. You have to work harder. Or leave the cult.

digital age na ngayon. real time na ang karma.

:-)

i agree! imagine, naging sila bago magka-KG yung guy! weird! bakit yung bestfriend ni PI dati pinagbreak sa bf niya kasi di daw spiritually mature ang guy!! pero pag si PY pwede! they're really crazy out there! and you're right mayaman na siya! hahahahaha!

i pity their members too. kasi as they work hard to give their tithes so to become fulltime (hay nako! cross lang yan, bumili na lang kayo!), this new couple would get a new house, a new car and a yaya! courtesy of their evil parents, while their center still leaks!

Well, I'm happy that PY got married. Finally she can settle down. Good luck for the guy though. I'm not sure he know what he got himself into, and if his conscience can handle it.

I really do hope that an authority from the Catholic Church would do an investigative look into the activities, as well as the personalities, of this cult. It's quite sad to see that up to know, some people are easily swallowed into the hypocrisy and the Pharisaic practices occurring in that place. If someone just did an accounting or an auditing of the appropriation of funds over there, maybe some people would be more informed.

In addition, if a study would be done on those who have exited from that community, the information gathered would show how that cult abuses its members psychologically and spiritually.

I believe that those who choose to stay in that place are either confused and/or manipulated.

Those who leave, or those who have been pushed away, are those who have been asking questions, but have been silenced or censured by the elders.

This is because the nature of such questions, more often than not, focuses on the dichotomy of what they preach as compared to the unexplained extravagant lifestyle that they live in. Many are censured for asking these questions, and the sheer act of inquiry would be rebellion in the eyes of the elders.

"My questions come when I cease to obey." This is an Oswald Chamber"s quote that is often misinterpreted by some people who think of themselves as the main agents of God's will on earth.

Oswald Chambers meant this phrase to refer to God, and not to the petty opinions of some people who think of themselves as having the power to manipulate a person's life the way they see fit. Sometimes, those elders would even plan your life for you, and call this God's will for you life, when it is in fact just another means for them to manipulate you. And they would call it surrendering to God's will.
